Anthony Edmondson (鈥�15, MBA), Research Program Administrator & Budget Analyst for UAH's Propulsion Research Center (PRC), was recently awarded the highly competitive Society of Research Administrators International's (SRAI) 2017 Annual Meeting Scholarship. As the award winner, Anthony will receive support to attend the SRAI Meeting, October 14-18, 2017 in Vancouver, Canada.
Since his hiring in 2008, Anthony has been an asset to the PRC. Anthony is responsible for running the PRC front office, managing PRC financial operations, and serving as a human resource liaison. Though managing over 50 proposals and a busy research center is taxing work, Anthony took the initiative to complete a Master of Business Administration at UAH in only five semesters while working full-time. The SRAI award will allow Anthony to sharpen his research management skills, network with other professionals in his field, and learn emerging best practices in research administration which will benefit the PRC.
