Patrick Pape, Ph.D.
Patrick Pape, Ph.D., has been an assistant director of the Center for Cybersecurity Research and Education (CCRE) at ÂÜÀòµºapp (UAH) since January 2022. Throughout his tenure, he has deepened his expertise through hands-on experience and mentorship from the CCRE director and deputy director. In his current role, Pape oversees four research engineers and supervises 20 to 50 research interns, providing leadership and guidance across multiple projects.
As the project lead and subject-matter expert (SME) for four active research initiatives, Pape is responsible for managing deliverables, timelines and employee performance. He is a lifelong learner who continuously seeks opportunities to grow as both a leader and a subject-matter expert in his field. Pape holds a doctorate and a master’s in computer science from Auburn University, as well as a bachelor’s in computer science from UAH.
