Alumni Access at the Salmon Library

Alumni from 蹤獲絢app can receive a guest pass to the M. Louis Salmon Library. Alumni accounts are free and perpetual.

Alumni accounts come with the following benefits:

    • Check out up to 50 at a time for 60 days (with 1 renewal).

  • Articles & Ebooks
    • Over 300 databases and online tools available for on-campus access: . 
    • Major resources such as ScienceDirect, Ovid Nursing, Business Source Complete, and JSTOR. 
    • Note: on-campus access only for our online materials (see note, below).
  • First Floor Patron PCs
    • Many common and useful software programs such as Microsoft Office, SPSS, MatLab, and others.
    • Dedicated user profile. 
    • Use these computers to access the online resources, above.
  • Archives and Special Collections
    • Extensive collection of materials related to space, campus, and local history. 
    • Unique artifacts of critical moments in Huntsville's development and success.

Getting Alumni Access

You will need proof of your alumni status (contact the Charger Card Office to get an Alumni Card). Bring that and a photo ID to the User Services Desk in the library lobby. You can also reach the User Services Desk via 256.824.6530 and by library@uah.edu if you would like more details or clarification. 

Off-Campus Access

At this time, the library cannot offer off-campus access to its digital/online materials, even to Alumni. If you need to look up information off campus, you can use our  or you can use the . If you questions about these materials, you may , but to access the materials you will need to be on campus.
